This software is not open-source and is not licensed under the GPL or any other public license.
License Grant
A non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license is granted to the author’s current employer for the purpose of using the theme on internal and client projects during the period of active employment of the author.
This license:
- Does not grant ownership
- Does not grant redistribution rights
- Does not grant sublicensing rights
- Does not grant rights to create derivative works
- Does not grant rights to claim authorship
This license applies solely to the employer identified by this relationship and does not transfer to any successor, affiliate, or future employer unless a separate, formal written agreement is executed by the author.
Ownership
The theme was developed independently by the author and is not a work made for hire.
All intellectual property rights remain with Jim Wheeler.
Termination
This license automatically terminates upon the end of employment unless explicitly renewed in writing by the author. Upon termination, the licensee must immediately cease all use of JW Bootstrap, JW Bootstrap 2, JWBS3, and any related theme components. No perpetual or continuing rights are granted. Use of the theme after termination of employment is strictly prohibited unless explicitly renewed in writing. The licensee may not modify, fork, or create derivative versions of the theme for continued use after termination. Continued use after termination constitutes copyright infringement.
Author Rights
The author retains the unrestricted right to:
- Use the theme for any purpose
- Modify or extend the theme
- License the theme to others
- Sell the theme
- Open-source the theme
- Revoke or modify this license
